The film studios introduced a system of "region coding" in DVDs due to concerns about piracy being promoted by differing release schedules worldwide. The United Kingdom and Éire are, along with most of Europe, in Region 2. Filmnight.com only sell Region 2 DVDs and should play in all British or Irish DVD players.
